Excavation and Trenching Competent Person Training

This training is intended to give those employees who will be responsible for trenching and excavations safety to be designated as the competent person.  

The competent person is responsible for the safety of all employees working in or around the excavation or trench. They must be familiar with the OSHA rules regarding excavations and understand their responsibilities. They must have knowledge of different soil types and how changing conditions can affect the soil.
