Three-phase alternating current, electrical power is commonly used in all commercial and industrial applications. It is a highly efficient method of delivering large amounts of power using lower levels of current. It also allows us to place large electrical demands onto the grid with relatively small infrastructure wire.
It is also very confusing at times. We have developed this module to help you to understand the basics of three-phase power.
Please study the following material and then there will be a test in which you must obtain a score of 80% or better in order to obtain your completion certificate. I recommend you have a calculator with trigonometric functions for this module.
