Hailing from a small town in the Netherlands, Erik Burggraaf has been at the helm of a successful consultancy company specializing in safety training for the construction industry for a quarter-century alongside his wife. Now, their daughter is poised to take the reins!

When Erik initially established his consultancy firm, the era of digitalization had not yet dawned. All training sessions took place in person, with pen and paper as the primary tools. He explained, "In the past, creating all that training material used to consume a considerable amount of my time. They had to be flawless, including the illustrations, because I had a limited budget for printing. You wouldn't want any errors in them. Nowadays, I can easily update and replace training material, which means one less worry and less stress."

Beyond the savings in time and money, an additional benefit is increased control. Erik elaborated, "I can now monitor a student's learning progress more effectively. Are they on track, or do I need to step in? Which courses have been completed, and which haven't? I can provide more precise feedback now, partly because students can view their results. We can discuss the results right after an exam, whereas in the past, there was a correction phase."

User-friendly experience

Erik also emphasized the user-friendliness of the system. "Students only need to focus on the training material. They don't need to grapple with complex software." Erik is impressed by the Exam feature. It offers all the functionality he requires and is intuitive to use. He added, "I can create multiple-choice questions, easily incorporate video questions, and the fun part is that you can randomize questions, ensuring each student receives a unique exam, thereby reducing the chances of guesswork and cheating."

Erik's enthusiasm for Easy LMS remains unwavering. In response to whether he would recommend it to others, he quipped, "No, please don't. If you do, they'll gain the same advantages I have, and I wouldn't want that. Naturally, I want to maintain my competitive edge, haha."
